I think I wanted to be a lawyer the first time I watched Perry Mason. And I’ll bet others have said that too, but as a kid watching Perry Mason I thought it looked so interesting. And I went to the University of Notre Dame, completed my undergraduate work and I was bent on law school. Came back here to the University of Minnesota Law School and graduated in 1982. Met my wife the first day of law school and so ever since then I’ve been a practicing lawyer and have enjoyed it very much. I love getting to the bottom of things. Every case is like solving a mystery.
